Joel Bedford wins the 2006 Excellence in Mentoring Award

After evaluating all the letters of nomination received, the 10 members of the SIT committee wish to assign the 2006 Excellence in Mentoring Award to Dr. Joel Bedford (Colorado State University). As tradition, we would also like to acknowledge the names of the other scientists that were nominated from the RRS community. They are Dr. John Court (Velindre NHS Trust, UK), Prof. Howard Ducoff (Emeritus, University of Illinois), Dr. Kathy Held (Massachusetts General Hospital), and Dr. Mike Robbins (Wake Forest University).
Dr. Bedford will receive the Award at the Business Meeting of the RRS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the 53rd Annual Meeting that will be held jointly with ASTRO.
